W.I.?...Oh, that's not for me! Boring! Old Fashioned!

Stuck in the past!    Not my thing at all!

Why not come along and be proved wrong?

We meet on the first Thursday of each month in Shrewley Village Hall starting at 2.15p.m.

Boring?   We have excellent speakers at our meetings, covering a wide variety of topics.   In addition, we organise courses on crafts and other subjects, together with outings to places of interest, and super social evenings, which are open to members and non-members alike.

Old-fashioned?   Well, perhaps a little bit - we do have a wonderful homemade tea at each meeting - bad for the figure, but excellent for the libido!

Stuck in the past?   So what are we doing on this web site?   We are part of a go-ahead, campaigning national organisation with a membership well in excess of 200,000, of which 3,500 are in Warwickshire alone.   There are many chances to develop existing skills or learn new ones.

Not my thing at all?   The vast majority of members say this before they join - but they find that they are wrong.    Non-members and visitors are always really welcome at meetings - why not come along and find out?
